The 2017 Blessing of the Fleet was held on July 10,2017.

Dignitaries that were in attendance were State Representative Rene Oliveira and Mr. and Mrs. Russ Robertson and Mr. Jason Fearneyhough, the Deputy Commissioner of the Texas Department of Agriculture.  Also in attendance were all local media, CBS Evening News and HBO VICE who documented the event.
